Our first stop was Kavieng where we indulged in some amazing reef diving - sheer drop-offs and crystal clear water and awesome wreck diving, again the visibility in this region has to be seen to be believed. Our accommodation was at the picturesque Malagan Beach Resort, ideally located on the water's edge at Kavieng.
